Professor Cooper H. Langford is a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada (1991), the American Association for the Advancement of Science (1986) and the Chemical Institute of Canada (1971). He received an A. B. from Harvard University in 1956 and a Ph. D. from Northwestern University in 1960. He now continues his research as Professor Emeritus and Faculty Professor at Department of Chemistry, University of Calgary, Canada.
