Abstract:
It is well known that a self-similar set K can be identified as the limit (i.e., boundary) of its symbolic representation. In the talk we will discuss the identification of K with the Martin boundaryand the hyperbolic boundary from the probabilistic and geometric point of view. This allows us to bring in additional harmonic and geometric structure on the self-similar set, which is in line with the current development of analysis on fractals.
