Abstract:

We consider the Cauchy problem $u_t=Delta u+e^u$ in the whole space $R^N, N geq 3$ with some suitable initial data.
We obtain some key exponents which determine the stability and we give necessary conditions for global existence and finite time blow-up behavior of solutions. We discuss the stability and weakly asymptotic stability of radial steady-states solutions.
